Our programs

Teams, robotics, hackathons, and a feed of opportunities. Everything is free or low-cost, and all of it is run by students. Start wherever sounds most fun.

Competitive VEX V5 teams

Our two teams design, build, and code their robots through the full VEX V5 season: strategy, autonomous routines, scouting, and iteration from kickoff to the final tournament.

Team openings are announced on @projectsilicon_.

Robotics

Our hands-on robotics program is where newer students wire, build, and drive their first VEX V5 robot, taught by the students on our competitive teams. No experience required.

Session announcements go out on @projectsilicon_.

Student-run hackathons

We organize hackathons that put the region's young builders in one room, including a Hack Club Campfire we hosted. Venue, sponsors, judging: all of it is handled by students.

Events are announced first on @projectsilicon_.

The opportunity pipeline

We post robotics, CS, and engineering opportunities for Philly-area students on Instagram: internships, competitions, programs, and scholarships.

It all lives on @projectsilicon_.
